World Changers- Building Relationships for God

A young man in Barbados was riding his bicycle past a crew of students who were doing walking evangelism for World Changers International. Kevin, a student volunteer, called out to the man and asked him if he could see his bicycle. The young man accepted the invitation and stopped to meet the World Changers crew.

The students continued to evangelize neighborhoods and the young man (Akeem) decided to follow…listening to the things that the students shared. When the crew stopped at a park, Katie, a volunteer, was conversing with Akeem and found out that his mother had died. She knew Kevin had also lost his mother, so she asked Akeem if he would like to talk with him. When Akeem heard Kevin explain God's plan for his life, he decided to invite Jesus into his heart and to follow Him! Isn't it wonderful how God used the entire World Changers crew for His glory and for His purpose!

The students highlighted in this story worked under the direction of missionaries Rick and Cindy Jenkins. To read more about how God used them in Barbados, log on to Cindy's blog at http://weblog.xanga.com/cindyajenkins

International World Changers (IWC) offers youth and youth groups the opportunity for a hands-on mission experience. The International Mission Board, in cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention, sponsors this ministry.
